I had complained to her that I have yet to find my wardrobe.

Wow, she's still alive? Where has she been all this time?
Do you mean trek as in definition 1: "to travel by ox wagon"? Or as in definition 2: "to make one's way slowly or arduously"? (Per Merriam-Webster's Unabridged)
