What I've Been Looking For

Now this is more like it!
This news article is exactly what I honestly expect and love from american people (yes, I do actually love most people from North America).

Let me know what you think about this--
Would you? Could you? Sam I am?
Would you, could you house an american refugee with ham?

That might end up being a reality. People can't stay in the Astrodome forever.

My question is: how would you afford to feed the extra mouths?

I'd do it, if there were room in my apartment.

Unless they're willing to sleep in the living room, which they may well be.

I saw this today. If we could only get all those refugees to the waiting homes quicker. It's getting pretty ugly down there.

I couldn't in this house, barely room for us. Hope they do find temporary places for them to stay.

I do think it's more of a temporary thing. New Orleans won't be ready to move back to for probably a year at best. I am donating whatever I can afford this weekend.

I think it's wonderful...I unfortunately don't have extra room. A dose of my personality would would send them over the bend anyway. Honest if I had an extra bedroom I would be happy to offer my home up to help...but they have to eat what I cook damnit!

I wish I lived closer, so people could bunk with me.

I probably would if I could...but I can't...I have no spare room in my house at all.

I know this is unrelated to the subject at hand, but didn't they close a whole bunch of military bases not that long ago? Bases that housed military families (with apartments and the like)? Why not use them? Am I missing something???
