Now?
Terrorism--globalization--environment--and addiction
It's the addiction part that struck me. Meanwhile,
I checked out Showtime's _Weeds_ for a student who
thought we should analyze it in WS200. Yes, it's well written,
but the way it normalizes weed! How naive have I become?
I thought maybe 50% of the population smoked--
is it more like 80%?
Addiction is a central Q for our society now, but
does it define who we are?
1 Comments:
Hell, Sherlock Holmes was addicted to cocaine, and he wasn't even real!
I've never done illegal drugs of any kind... how does that effect your percentage?
