I do dearly love Easter.
A reflective time.

Can you imagine bringing peace and love
to the earth,
all of the earth,
only to be crucified?

Arms wide open.

Knowing what I know
of people, torture, extortion, and war,
I cannot, could never
hold my arms wide open to all of this pain . . .
