Cambridge
Last night, I had dinner with my friend,
who just came back from England
a few days ago . . .
A few minutes ago,
I just received news about the attacks . . .
so, forgive me, but I don't feel much like blogging
at the moment--I'll tell you this:
this event has changed my synapses from blogging
about a fun night out with an incredible friend to . . .

I'm glad to hear your friend wasn't there when it all came crashing down. We'll see you when you're ready.
It's all left me with a heavy heart as I have family over that way and the phones are just overloaded right now.
I agree with you. We now have relook at things again. See you another time.
I know how you feel. I started the day off fine yesterday, driving to work and for no apparent reason I left the radio off, no talk news, no NPR, no music, nothing. Just me thinking about the various and random drivel that runs through my head. Then I got in and someone said, "Did you hear...?"
Writing a bit about it last night helped me focus, helped me settle, but I still woke up this morning feeling disconnected (for lack of a better word). Then I browsed over to your blog for the first time, and I've just spent the better part of the last hour catching up.
Apparently, I am also The Name Of The Rose. This made me smile.
You owe me a new reader now!!
:o)
