Has anyone noticed
that POST SECRETS
seems to be going down hill?
The editor seems to only find
secrets written on women's bodies
worth publishing . . .
Or maybe the editor
isn't getting anymore fabulous secrets?
or art work?
Or maybe I'm just tired of the site?

For me, the decline started when I noticed they were only showing one week at a time, no more archives. I guess they want people to buy the book. And skin sells, doesn't it?
I used to have this nearly uncontrollable urge to make up all kinds of fake secrets and mail them in from around the country when I travel on business, so each one gets a different postmark. And not the typical sexually-oriented fare. I'd make up stuff like: "I work for Kellogg's, and I put boogers into Frosted Flakes." Stuff like that.
I haven't looked at that site for a long time. I checked it out when you said it was getting sucky.
You are right although I think it was always that way..
I'm tired of the site. It's too dark for me, and too many postcards feature rape, infidelity, incest, blah, blah, blah.
I checked it earlier this evening for something funny; I found one. Other than that, it was pretty depressing.
Post Secret seemed cool in the very beginning... Like the first season of The Real World.
Then it was really real, not like now, nope.
