Dinner Table.
Twin One: "He said the SH word."
Twin Two: "C, I did not!"
Calmly, matter-of-factly, Twin One: "Um-hum. Yes, you did."
Twin Two: "I did not say the SH word!"
Twin One: "Yes you did. He is saying it at school."
Twin Two: "I do not say SHUT UP--stop saying that!"
Twin One, satisfied: "See."

"shut-up" was an "ugly" word in my house when i was a kid... so was "idiot"
now i have a tendency to overuse them both
(shut-up/idiot/shut-up/idiot/shut-up)
great, now i can't stop.
We were forbidden to use those words when I was a kid, too. But they can be so useful :)
