Being Underground is a Bit Stifling
Have you ever had a RL reader,
a dear friend,
who read your blog?
What if she read your blog
after she had sent you several emails
(3-4 a day) that you felt were impossible
to keep up on?
Would you feel guilty
posting a new blog entry daily
even though you had not replied to her email?
Would you "hide" your blog?
Even if that meant loosing some facinating readers/friends??

The Daily Show: September 15, 2005
Welcome to The Daily Show's finale of Evolution Schmevolution week ... Ed Helms continues this evolution reports by speaking to a man named Frank Janoski, a man who feels that Christians have taken a backseat in politics.
I surf blogs to kill some time. Yours is really interesting. I've a site that deals sith email marketing program, Please stop by if email marketing program peaks your interest.
No, I wouldn't hide it. And I wouldn't feel guilty posting a new blog entry either, dammit.
:)
None of my RL friends now that I have a blog. My cousin knows but I haven´t given her the address. I wouldn´t hide my blog if I was the one to tell the address... Posting daily but still wouldn´t have time to send an email..It would be the same as what one of my friends did... Sent the email to all of us - there is/used to be this small group of friends, and didn´t even bother to hide the other addresses. :D
I'm with MC on this one: not at all. What's your friend going to say when she finds this new blog address (if she found the last one, isn't there a reasonable chance she can find this one)? Might as well just tell her that you blog for personal, perhaps cathartic, reasons, and you'll reply to her emails as fast as you can once that is done. Or tell her that you find emailing so impersonal a mode of communication between good friends and you'd rather just chat once in a while.
Now, since I'm sure she didn't find you through my blog, I'm off to update my links.
My wife knows I have a blog, but has never read it. It's still up in the air if I will show her 'mine'. Email/Blogging/Real relationships can be difficult
